Regarding selling things on the Envato Marketplace: I think its great for taking unused or unfinished designs that you’ve shelved for whatever reason, refurbish them and package them off to sell on the side. This is just what I’ve used it for. This way, you can continue with your actual work/job and make a couple bucks with some things you’ve already made that just never got used. However, I think that some of the people really making a lot of money on that site sit down with the intention of making an item just to sell. So you definately get out of it, what you are able to put in.

I have though about selling my unused web designs in web templates websites but I haven’t found one that takes submittions. Where do they get there templates? How do you get in on that? Google doesn’t have anything on it. Any help is appreciated…

    Hey Danny,
Thanks for taking the time to answer my question submitted via Twitter. I’ve been looking into some passive income opportunities so it’s always good to hear another designer’s take on it.
