Outlaw Exclusive – Courage Wallpaper

I was itching for a new desktop wallpaper, but couldn’t find any that I liked. So, I decided to create my own. Of course my desktop has to have an outlaw theme to keep me motivated and pumped. So, I decided to go with a classic John Wayne picture and quote. I hope you like it!

Freebie – App Interface Navigation

Tweetie app seemed to revolutionize the navigation for apps, and even some websites with is simple side, icon based, navigation. I don’t know about you, but I see similar designs popping up all over the place. In case you are interested in creating something similar, here is a simple PSD to get you started.

Design Wallpaper – Dress Up Your desktop

It has been a few years since I posted the popular article, 63 Wallpapers for Designers. Since then a number of cool new wallpapers have popped up on the interwebs. Rather than doing another absurdly long post, I thought I would showcase a few new wallpapers for designs that I have come across in the last few weeks. Freebie – 3 Pixel Patterns for Photoshop

Im a sucker for cool pixel style Photoshop patterns. There are just so many cool things you can do with them. Recently I have been experimenting with creating my own patterns. You can expect to see many more of these in the months to come.

Freebie – Sharp Box Layer Style PSD


This freebie was inspired by pixel perfect style the Meta Labs has done such a good job perfecting. This layer style works best for thumbnails and avatar pictures. However, it also looks pretty nice on larger images for sliders and things of that nature.
